1. About This Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Education On The Go (‘we,’ ‘us,’ or ‘our’), a project of Education On The Go Corp (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN: 92-1172505), collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

2. Information We Collect

  • Information you voluntarily provide: name, email address, and any other details you submit through registration forms, contact forms, or newsletter subscriptions.
  • Usage data: pages visited, time spent on site, browser type (collected anonymously via Google Analytics).
  • Cookies: small text files stored on your device to improve your browsing experience.

3. Campus Information Line (Phone Calls)

When you call our Campus Information Line, your call is answered by an automated voice assistant that helps route your inquiry and record your interest in the Campus community initiative. By continuing the call, you consent to the following:

  • Call recording & transcription: calls are recorded and transcribed so we can accurately capture your request and improve service. If you do not wish to be recorded, please end the call and contact us by email instead.
  • Information captured: your name, phone number, email address, the reason for your call (e.g. volunteer, donor, family member, partner), and a short summary of the conversation.
  • Automated processing: the call is handled by third-party voice-AI and transcription providers acting on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms. We do not use call content for advertising and do not sell it.
  • Use: captured details are stored securely so a team member can follow up about the Campus initiative. You may request deletion at any time (see ‘Your Rights’).

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve our services
  • To send newsletters or updates you have subscribed to
  • To respond to your questions and requests
  • To analyze website traffic and improve user experience
  • We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for commercial purposes.

5. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to enhance your experience. You may disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.

6. Third-Party Services

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate this website, each governed by its own privacy policy:

  • Google Analytics & Google Ads — anonymous, aggregated website usage and ad-measurement statistics. If enhanced conversion measurement is enabled, a hashed (irreversible) form of your email or phone may be shared with Google solely to measure ad effectiveness; we never share it in readable form.
  • Supabase — secure database hosting for form submissions you send us.
  • Resend — delivery of notification emails.
  • PayPal — secure donation processing. We never receive or store your card details.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

7. Data Security

The entire site is served over an encrypted HTTPS (SSL) connection, so any information you submit is transmitted securely. We store data with reputable providers, limit access to it, and keep it only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected — after which it is deleted. Payment card data is handled entirely by PayPal and never stored on our servers.

  • Request access to your personal data
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Unsubscribe from emails at any time
  • Contact us with any privacy concerns
